Nosework Games in Herefordshire

Put your dog's nose to the test in a fun, but competitive nosework game!

Each nosework game is held at our dedicated Training & Behaviour Centre

Test out the skills you have learnt on the Beginners Scent Work Course or the Scent Detection for Reactive Dogs Course (dogs will compete individually) or have reached a point where they work to odour (whether trained elsewhere or self-taught)

Each Nosework Game has a theme and tea & cake is provided

There will be a qualified trainer leading the class, with a maximum of 8 dogs per session

The dog who detects all of the scents in the quickest time wins!

What else do I need to know?

Cost is £25 per competition, which lasts for 2.5 hours and comprises of 3 individual games
APDS is an approved venue for Nosework Games Competitions and Head Trainer, Jen Smith, is an approved Nosework Games Competition Instructor
These competitions are designed to test dog and handler team on a variety of scent work skills, in a fun way and include tasks such as find the hidden treasure, adopt a position, distance, go to source and more!
Please bear in mind that these games are held in a dog training centre so there will be some residual dog odour
